Every process has steps and each step should be appropriate and clear to get desired results. In the same way for complete GIS usability, we implement five steps.

A simple five-step process allows you to apply GIS to any business or
an organizational problem that requires a geographical decision.

  1. Identify Purpose:
    It is always better to understand what is the problem and how you are going to analyze and present it to the people.Make sure you ask yourself,What is the problem?How to deal with it?How to analyze and solve it? Where is this problem exists?.
  2. Gather Data:
    The second part is to find the data related to your purpose.Acquire all the related data from different resources that is present on internet and explore them.
  3. Examine Data:
    After gathering your data examine it which means take on the necessary methods and tools in order to extract necessary data and draw a flow of analysis you will do it on the data.
  4. Analyse:
    Analyze your data based on the flow created and take on each step in sequence.Use necessary tools to make analyses in 2d, 3d or any format you like.Using tools makes our task very easy.
  5. Refine Results:
    The results of your analysis can be shared through reports, maps, tables delivered in print or digitally on the Internet.you should always choose the format where you analysis proves to be the best.
